O Gauge Wagon for Warley Show

As well as the usual 4mm Scale Limited Edition wagons Warley MRC has, for the first time, commissioned a 7mm Scale (O Gauge) wagon for sale at this year’s National Model Railway Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on Saturday and Sunday 19th & 20th November 2011.

The wagon, pictured below, is a Birmingham Co-op Coal wagon in the number series 31 to 48 and is produced by POW Sides on a Slater’s kit.   Most individual numbers in the series will be available for purchase for customers wishing to buy multiple wagons.   The Slater’s kit is an easy to build item requiring a minimum of tools and produces an excellent model of the real thing.

The kit, available only from Warley MRC, will be on sale at the National Model Railway Exhibition at a price of £40.00 ea. and to avoid disappointment it is suggested that intending purchasers should reserve their kit from John Seward, using the following e-mail address 7mmwagon@warley-mrc.org.uk.

For those unable to attend the show to collect their wagons we will be happy to mail them for a further £2.50 post and packing

2010 will again see two more tank wagons from a local West Midlands company. Both will be weathered versions of our 2007 Brotherton models - with different running numbers of course.

Additionally we are offering another 250 open wagons. All proceeds from the sale of this wagon will go to support our Nebuliser project.

Below are the special edition (mostly 500 units) 4mm wagons produced for various Warley shows.
